The cabin was purchased in the 1940's as a place for families to get away and spend time together.  In the time since, so many traditions have come and gone but the cabin itself reminds  us all how important family and nature can be.

The cabin runs as instructed by the elders with the four families having a designee that takes care of the costs (hopefully with help) and saves a little for a rainy (tornado-y even?) day.

But the family is always encouraged to donate a little for upgrades to the cabin like our new gazebo added recently, new windows and one day hopefully a new dock!!

2024 is the 13th Family Olympics.  This year, we will kick off on July 3rd with the Opening Ceremonies and will go through the weekend wrapping up Sunday, July 7th.  Search the site for more information!
